Brown-Forman Procure to Pay Regional Process Manager EU/Asia in London, United Kingdom

Meaningful Work From Day One

The Procure to Pay Process Manager (EU) will work closely with the Global Process Manager(s) (GPO), to oversee and ensure procure to pay functions for Europe with support to Asia, with a focus on process harmonization, transactional efficiency, organization design, and assisting with prioritization of all Procure to Pay related initiatives and decisions for the region.This role will also provide leadership support in overall vendor and contract management.The position will collaborate with key stakeholders and identify opportunities to deliver new services/processes where appropriate. The position provides stewardship to assure that quality, operational, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved.

The position will also lead/develop regional standard operating procedures and processes. The Process Manager will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the European Procure to Pay transactional teams/roles that will be formed during the harmonization project into a Global Business Services (“GBS”) organization. This job collaborates with and supports responsibilities with the designated GPO for Indirect and Direct P2P Process Leaders.

What You Can Expect

  • Regional oversight and leadership for procure to pay activities in regions including procurement, AP, contract management, supplier management, and KPI/operational reporting.

  • Implements/designs transactional processes of the Procure to Pay value stream in Europe and Asia, leverage global Procure to Pay roadmap.

  • Responsible for the development/adherence of the global process “Blueprint”, working closely with the PTP Process Architect.

  • Responsible for the development of regional policies, procedures, and full utilization of systems for procurement activities.

  • Primary liaison between the GBS Regional teams and the business community relative to the Procure to Pay Functions.

  • Ensures ownership and governance of process documentation (catalog of services, process maps, job aides, standard operating procedures (SOP's), service partnership agreements (SPA's), key performance indicators (KPI's), etc.).

  • Regular KPIs updates and reporting to purchasing groups/buyers.

  • Assures achievement of internal service requirements defined by both formal Service Partnership Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Monitors cost per transaction and works toward driving change to produce value and cost-effectiveness.

  • Assures successful implementation of standard global processes, evaluates end-to-end performance and adjusts as needed.

  • Day-to-day management of GBS Procure to Pay functions, working closely with country/regional Supply Chain and Financial leaders.

  • Manages/Leads 10-15 Procure to Pay Analysts in Europe.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrable progressive business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting/finance/share services (Procure to Pay transactions).

  • Management experience

  • Systems experience with global ERP systems (such as SAP, Coupa or Concur)

  • Solid process understanding and process improvement concepts

  • Change management experience

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional accounting qualifications

  • 5+ years progressive business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting/finance/share services (Procure to Pay transactions).

  • experience in a role leading a global team or projects

  • Systems experience with global ERP (such as SAP)

  • Solid process understanding and process improvement concepts

What Makes You Unique

  • Advanced degree

  • Technical aptitude and/or and procurement systems (example Coupa/Arriba).

  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies

  • Development or Experience in Procurement or Buying Organization

  • Vendor Management Experience

  • Experience with travel and expense systems (such as Concur).
