Our small, multi-functional team at Stein manages the external production for Brown-Forman products in Europe. Being part of this team requires a collaborative and flexible approach, building strong relationships within the Brown-Forman global team and our production partners.

Meaningful Work From Day One

The Logistics Specialist supports the systems and processes in all aspects of Supply Chain operations of the Stein operation. Working with the Supply Chain Specialist, the Stein team and the wider Brown-Forman team, you will support the progression of orders.

What You Will Experience

  • Check open orders and back orders

  • Check appropriate stock is available and highlight any discrepancies

  • Support changes from Customer Services and Planning for orders

  • Execute agreed actions

  • Allocation challenges

  • Timing challenges

  • Customer Services requests from customer

  • Check orders details to ensure accuracy e.g. customer code, address changes etc. and communicate with customer service and co-packer

  • Processing orders in SAP

  • Send orders through EDI

  • Create pro-forma invoices for export destinations

  • Release deliveries to co-packers and carriers

  • Update Customer Services on order status

  • Instruct carrier/customs broker/transport department as per details from Customer Service requirements

  • Follow up loading schedules and follow up if issues are identified

  • Confirm pick-up and shipping as agreed

  • Review quantities and dates

  • Check processing in SAP and identify any issues

  • Provide updates to Customer Services on shipment schedule

  • Follow up

  • Record reasons for late orders

  • Report on open EAD’s

  • Identify if other export documentation is needed

  • Forward shipping documents to stakeholders

  • Answer and support additional questions Customer Service/Planners

  • Support Supply Chain Specialist in tasks concerning co-packers.

  • Cover for SC specialist on absence.

  • Support Purchasing Manager in entering Coupa entries on absence.

  • Assist on various Supply Chain projects for Stein.

  • Maintain and update KPI related data

  • Handle requests for manual orders for materials and follow up on these with our co-packers.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience of working within a supply chain or customer service team

  • Strong systems and ERP processing skills - Ideally SAP

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills - gaining and providing information between multiple teams - written and verbal

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong team player - understanding the needs of your team and actively playing your part within the team
